Primal whole food ice cream bites or as we call them at home ‘fat bombs’!
VANILLA OPTION – a play on a healthy version of the old milkshake lollies
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons ghee
- 2 tablespoons MCT oil
- 2 tablespoons collagen
- 2 tablespoons honey, maple or sweetener of choice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
- 1/3 cup milk (least processed as possible)
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 egg yolks
Method:
- Heat the coconut oil, ghee, and MCT oil slowly in a saucepan until just melted.
- Add to a blender. While blending on a slow speed, add the remaining ingredients until well combined.
- Pour in silicon moulds and freeze for 24 hours.
Thermomix Method:
- Heat the coconut oil, ghee, and MCT oil for 3 minutes, 65 degrees, speed 2.
- Mix for a further 1 minutes, no heat, speed 2. While mixing, remove the measuring cup (MC) and add remaining ingredients. Ensure the whole eggs and yolk are added last.
- Once all ingredients have been added mix for 15 seconds, no heat, speed 6 and ensure MC is on.
- Pour into silicon moulds and freeze for 24 hours.
CHOCOLATE OPTION – magnesium rich
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin cold pressed coconut oil

- 2 tablespoons cacao
- 2 tablespoons collagen
- 2 tablespoons honey, maple or sweetener of choice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
- 2 whole eggs
- 2 egg yolks
Method:
- Heat the coconut oil, ghee, MCT oil and water slowly in a saucepan until just melted.
- Add to a blender. While blending on a slow speed, add the remaining ingredients until well combined.
- Pour in silicon moulds and freeze for 24 hours
Thermomix Method:
